Talbot Run – Triple Threat takes on USPC Nationals!

Day 1/2 – USPC Championships

“Let the games begin!!” the speaker roared over the chattering crowd at opening ceremonies in the Anderson Coliseum. We are so honored to be able to represent Capital Region Pony Club and Talbot Run Riding Center at USPC Championships this year for Quiz. This is our first year of Champs, so Quiz is a good opportunity for us to further our horse knowledge and find out what Championships is all about.

We are already having a great time with only 2 days of competition underway. Thursday we attended Opening Ceremonies where regions from all over the east coast and even a few regions from the west coast paraded around the arena from all disciplines. Today, Friday was our first day of Quiz Competition. We started the day off with classroom, then went to stations, and finished with barn. We had a good day of competition 🙂 All the hard studying we did hopefully will pay off. Thanks to our coach Robin for helping us!

We’ve become friends with a lot of new pony clubbers. Quiz is a good experience because we have extra time after our phases, so we can go watch other pony clubbers ride in other disciplines such as Games, Show Jumping, and Eventing.

We are excited for another day of competition tomorrow!
