Adult Riding

We offer regular lessons for adults of all levels. In addition to lessons we provide two unique opportunities for adult clients: ARC and NCAEL. The NCAEL season runs Sept-March and ARC runs April-August.

Think like summer camp, but for adults. ARC nights consist of two back-to-back lessons full of mounted and unmounted games and challenges for adults of all experience levels. Beginners are paired with more experienced riders to show them the ropes. Afterwards we enjoy music, snacks, and socializing.

The National Capital Adult Equitation League provides the opportunity for adult riders who don't have their own horse to be a part of a team and compete in a show league with barns across Maryland and Virginia. Riders "catch-ride" on a horse from the host team and are judged on their equitation on the flat and over fences.
